To my grandfather Maurice (on the left on the picture) who died of AIDS in 1990 in London.

I have never known you but as your grandaughter I am proud of the fight you must have put up.

I will always be proud to tell your story, and I am proud to have followed your steps in so many ways.

I will be running the next London Half Marathon for the national aids trust and in your memory.
